General Terms and Conditions of Sale – Model Horse Shop

2. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern the sales of products offered on the website modelhorseshop.fr and define the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with online sales.

3. Product

 All products are precisely described, the photos have no contractual value unless otherwise stated on the product sheet.

The items sold are new and/or second-hand (where applicable, this is specified).

Specific products: paints, glues, solvents, aerosols

These products are subject to regulations and may present flammability or toxicity risks.

Their sale is reserved for adults (+18 years).

Products are supplied with their regulatory labeling and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) available upon request.

Some delivery methods may be limited for these products for safety reasons.

4. Orders

Placing an order implies full and complete acceptance of these GTC.

The order is confirmed by email after payment has been processed.

The customer is responsible for the information provided for delivery. Any error must be reported immediately.

5. Price and payment

The prices are indicated in euros (€) and excluding taxes. VAT not applicable, article 293B of the CGI.

The payment is secure and can be made by credit card, PayPal or Klarna.

Model Horse Shop reserves the right to cancel any order in case of payment dispute.

6. Delivery

Orders are shipped within an average of 1 to 2 business days after payment confirmation (excluding orders containing products in pre-order).

Approximate delivery times:

  • France: 2 to 5 working days
  • Europe: 3 to 7 working days
  • Rest of the world: 5 to 12 working days


Model Horse Shop is not responsible for delays due to carriers or customs.

In case of lost or stolen package, the customer must inform us quickly so that we can initiate the steps with the carrier.

No restocking fee will be applied for returned or incorrect orders.

Customers are responsible for paying import duties and taxes.

7. Right of withdrawal and returns

In accordance with the Consumer Code, the customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify reasons or pay penalties, except for personalized products, made on order or dangerous.

To exercise this right, the customer must notify their decision in writing (email or letter), specifying the order number and the products concerned. After validation, the customer has an additional 14 days to return the products.

Conditions of return

The products must be returned in a condition allowing them to be put back on sale, with all packaging, accessories and instructions.

Return costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in case of defective product, damaged upon receipt or error from Model Horse Shop, in which case they are covered by us.

Proportionate depreciation may be applied if the product is returned with a loss of value due to handling other than that necessary to verify its nature and functioning.

Delivery costs

The initial delivery costs corresponding to the standard method chosen during the order are refunded as part of the withdrawal.

Any additional costs for faster delivery methods are not reimbursed.

Defective products or order error

In case of defective product, damaged or non-compliant with the order, the customer is invited to contact the customer service as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours of receipt, providing photos of the package and the product.

After verification, a replacement or full refund including delivery costs will be offered.

8. Responsibility

Model Horse Shop undertakes to ship the products within the indicated time. The company’s liability for ordered products ceases when they are handed over to the carrier for delivery.

The customer is asked to check the condition of the package upon receipt and to report any damaged products or lost packages as soon as possible. In the event of damage or loss found upon delivery, Model Horse Shop will take all necessary measures to repair or replace the product, in accordance with current legislation.

The company declines all responsibility for:

  • the non-compliant use of products;
  • indirect damages related to the use of products or delivery;
  • delays in delivery attributable to the carrier or customs, within the limits of legal liability.

9. Legal guarantee

  • All products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects, in accordance with the articles of the Consumer Code and the Civil Code.

10. Personal data

The information collected is used solely for order processing and customer relationship management.

In accordance with the GDPR, the client can request access, modification or deletion of their data via contact@modelhorseshop.fr.

11. Intellectual property

All the elements of the site (texts, images, logos, graphics) are protected. Any reproduction or use without authorization is prohibited.

12. Applicable law and disputes

These GTC are subject to French law.

In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action. Failing this, the French courts will be competent.
