Cancellation policy of purchase options (pre-orders)

1. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to specify the cancellation and refund conditions applicable to products offered for pre-order on the Model Horse Shop website. Pre-orders concern items whose manufacture, the printing or supply is carried out after validation of the customer’s order.
2. Nature of pre-orders
Two types of products can be offered for pre-order:
- Products on demand: 3D printed models, custom creations or products made especially to order.
- Deferred supply products: standard items purchased from suppliers after validation of the customer’s order.
These products are clearly identified as such on their product sheet by the mention "Preorder"
3. Estimated delivery times
The delivery times indicated for pre-ordered products are estimated and may vary depending on material availability, production times or carriers.
Model Horse Shop undertakes to inform the customer by email in case of significant delay on the estimated delivery date.
4. Cancellation of a pre-order
a) Printed or made-to-order products
Pre-orders for products made on demand (especially 3D printed or personalized models) cannot be canceled after payment validation, except in case of obvious error from the seller or final unavailability of the product.
These items are excluded from the right of withdrawal in accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code.
b) Deferred supply products
Pre-orders for standard products may be cancelled before the package is shipped.
To request a cancellation, the client must contact customer service at contact@modelhorseshop.fr by specifying the order number.
If the order has not yet been forwarded to the supplier, a full refund will be made.
If the product has already been ordered or shipped by the supplier, the cancellation can no longer be accepted.
5. Delay or unavailability
In case of permanent unavailability of a pre-ordered product (supplier disruption, production shutdown, or any other legitimate reason), Model Horse Shop will offer the customer:
- a full refund, or
- a credit note of the same amount valid throughout the entire site.
No additional compensation can be claimed beyond the reimbursement of the amounts paid.
6. Right of withdrawal
The 14-day right of withdrawal provided for by the Consumer Code does not apply to products:
manufactured or printed on demand,
customized according to the client’s specifications.
For the other pre-orders (standard products), this right remains applicable from the receipt of the package.
