[message]WHO IS BEHIND THIS SITE?
My name is Ludivine and I am 27 years old. I have been passionate about the equine world since my childhood. I practiced horseback riding several times, for a total of about ten years. I did classic horseback riding, a bit of western, cross-country and some competitions. Today, I no longer ride.
I fell into the world of model making more than 20 years ago. Like many people of my generation, I grew up surrounded by Playmobil. Then I was offered my first real figurine: the Lipizzan gelding Bullyland. And I quickly discovered the Schleich figurines, which immediately pleased me a lot. This is how my collector’s journey began: at every Christmas and birthday, my list was filled exclusively with Schleich.
In 2010, I discovered the Breyer thanks to the blogs Skyrock, and it was a real revelation. That same year, I was offered my very first Breyer: the black Percheron gelding, Priefert Hitch Kong. A real crush on this model, for the big fan of draft horses that I am.
From 2017, I receive my first salaries and I slowly enhance my collection. At the end of the year, I realize one of my dreams: acquire my first resin, "Lunique de Falde", painted by Laurence Cassin, representing my favorite breed, the Trait Poitevin.
Then comes 2020, a pivotal year: I move in with my spouse and 16 traditional models. My budget allocated to the hobby is exploding. A year later, I am about 65. Until 2025, it is on average 33 models that join my collection each year. Today, my collection has 210 models at a scale of 1:9. I am proud of it and it fills me with happiness.
My passion has taken such a place over the years that it has become almost essential to my daily life.
WHY THIS PROJECT?
I’ve been thinking for years about how to make a living by doing something that really motivates me. Gradually, the idea of practicing a profession related to my devouring passion imposed itself on me. I also noticed that in France, there are no shops selling Breyer. The only way to get it is to buy abroad or second hand, which has always saddened me. That’s why I decided to embark on what I hope will be the adventure of my life. A project for me, but also for our entire French-speaking community, to help us develop and make ourselves known.
My objectives are simple:
So, thank you for getting this far and taking the time to know me a little better. This project can only work with you 💚
